FAQ

  • How much are the HOA dues? Our master association fees, which everyone must pay, are $50/month. Those who live in multi-family units also pay additional dues to their Second Tier Association.
  • What do the dues cover? Master association fees cover the maintenance and improvements to the common areas, recreational facilities, amenities, supplies and utilities.
  • How do I find out the current balance on my account?  accountsreceivable@slatterinc.com
  • Is Reedy Fork in the city limits? Yes. Therefore we pay city taxes, but we also have city services such as water, sewer, garbage collection, and leaf collection.
  • Can you have fences, storage buildings, and satellite dishes? Absolutely. We love for our owners to make improvements to their property. See our Architectural Request page for all you need to know.
  •  Is it OK to have/ pets and are there size restrictions? Household pets are welcome at Reedy Fork as long as they are not kept for commercial purposes. There are no size or breed restrictions. As mentioned above, keep in mind that we are in the city limits so dogs must be restrained at all times and Greensboro now has strict rules prohibiting tethering without an owner outside with the dog. Also, please keep in mind that our homes are in close proximity with one another and continuous barking can be considered a nuisance per Animal Control.
  • What is the #1 Complaint at the HOA Office? Owner's not cleaning up after their dog. We have doggie bag stations located throughout the community with trashcans attached. PLEASE make use of these or bring a bag with you from home whenever you walk your dog. Also, DO NOT allow your dog to take care of business in your neighbor's yard including urinating on their flowers/bushes/trees/lawn. City ordinance also requires that waste be removed regularly from your own yard.
  • What if I have a boat or RV? Reedy Fork has a first come first serve storage lot. We allow utility trailers, work trucks, and extra vehicles, all with current registration. Use of the lot is encouraged to keep these vehicles from blocking drives, sidewalks and simply to improve aesthetics within the neighborhood. There is a waiting list, please contact Jen Matthew for more info.
  • Are there rules regarding noise? We adhere to the city ordinance when it comes to noise. Quiet hours are 11 pm to 7 am, but of course, there are restrictions involving the level of noise at any time of the day. You can contact the city at 336-373-2489 for more information. To report violations, call the non-emergency police number at 336-373-2222.
  • How do I report a street light that is out near my house? Can report on the Duke Energy website, https://salor-web.duke-energy.app/#/home/map, or call the HOA office and they can report it for you.. The post is then flagged. If you notice the lights out in the clubhouse parking lot, call the HOA office at  (336) 358-0299.
  • When is garbage collection day? Collection day for Reedy Fork is Thursday. Trash (green can) is picked up every week while recycle (brown can) is collected every other week. Containers must be stored up at your house,  preferably on the side or in the garage, and cannot remain on the street. The city goes by a 7-7-7 rule...bring them out no earlier than 7 pm Wednesday, have them out by 7 am Thursday, and return them to the house no later than 7 pm Thursday.
  • Can I park on the street? Our streets are public streets and "yes" you can park there; however, there are a few basic rules to follow. Do NOT block mailboxes, do NOT park across from your neighbor's driveway so as to interfere with their ability to back out (even though it might seem safe to you, it might not to them), do NOT park within 40' of a stop sign and do NOT park directly across from another car making it difficult for others to get through (including large emergency vehicles and school buses).
  • Does the HOA provide snow removal? No. Our streets are public streets and the City of Greensboro is responsible for snow removal. Reedy Fork Parkway and Turner-Smith Road are classified as Priority 1 streets meaning that they will be plowed first. The side roads will be plowed as soon as they can get to them.
  • Can I ride my four-wheeler/mini-bike/go-cart on the streets/common areas/vacant lots/undeveloped land? NO...it is against city regulations on the streets and causes damages to the common areas, etc. Violators will be charged accordingly.
  • Can I hunt or fish in Reedy Fork? Hunting is not allowed anywhere on the property as we are within the city limits. Fishing is allowed in the creek along the trail.
